Are you a published writer looking to share your work, exchange ideas, and develop your writing within a vibrant community? The Brussels Writers Workshop is always interested in welcoming new members.

Our members write across a wide range of genres, including fiction, poetry, memoir, literary essays, short stories, young adult fiction, science fiction and screenwriting. What brings us together is our dedication to writing, our openness to constructive criticism, and our genuine interest in each other's work.

Every other week, we meet to read and discuss work in progress. Members have the opportunity to test new ideas, hear different perspectives and receive thoughtful feedback from their peers. Just as importantly, everyone contributes to the discussion and development of others’ work.

The Workshop is an international group, reflecting the city in which we meet. Our different backgrounds, experiences and approaches to writing keep our conversations lively and our perspectives varied.

Some members have been with us for many years, while others have joined more recently. New writers bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the group while becoming part of a workshop that has been meeting in Brussels since 1997.
